➡️Tips for Perfect Gulkand Paratha
Use a soft dough: A smooth, pliable dough makes rolling and folding easier.
Avoid overstuffing: Too much filling can cause the paratha to open while cooking.
Seal the edges properly: Press firmly with a fork to prevent the stuffing from leaking.
Cook on medium-low heat: Gulkand contains sugar, which can caramelize and burn if the heat is too high.
Use ghee for flavour: Ghee enhances the aroma and gives the paratha a lovely golden finish.
Check the stuffing consistency: If your gulkand is particularly moist, use a little less to make sealing easier.
