FRUIT RAITA (FRUIT YOGURT BOWL)

Raita is a special part of Indian cuisine. Made by mixing various ingredients into yogurt, raita becomes a favorite during the summer. Today, I’ve made raita (fruit yogurt bowl) using a mix of fruits.

Serves: 2 persons
Ingredients:
1.5 cups fresh yogurt
1/2 cup homemade cream (malai)
1 cup mixed fruits
1 tablespoon chopped cucumber
1 tablespoon chopped coriander
1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon black salt
Salt to taste
Method:
- Mix the cream into the yogurt and whisk lightly.
- Add salt and black salt, and mix well.
- Add all the fruits, cucumber, and coriander. Mix gently and refrigerate to chill.
- Serve cold. You can also add sugar if desired.
