GULAB JAMUN MINI CAKES

Gulab Jamun is Luscious traditional sweet of India, prepared with Khoya as a key ingredient. Gulab Jamun is also popular in Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Maldives. Here, I have prepared fusion dessert with Gulab Jamun. This bite size gulab jamun mini cakes are perfect for any festival, party or occasion and loved by all age groups.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Makes: 12 mini cakes

Ingredients:
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup curd
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp pistachio flakes
12 pieces Gulab Jamun

Method:

  1. Add sugar and melted butter in a mixing bowl and whisk it well.
  2. Then Sift all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda in this mixture.
  3. Add cardamom powder and mix everything along with milk.
  4. Grease and heat Paniyaram pan. Add one spoon of batter in each cavity.
  5. Then carefully place gulab jamun in each cavity. Sprinkle some pistachio flakes.
  6. Cover and let it cook for 8 to 10 minutes on a law flame.
  7. Then turn off the heat and remove carefully.
  8. Enjoy and serve warm.
