ICE CREAM SANDWICH

Ice cream sandwich is famous street food of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Ahmedabad’s famous night food street is Manek Chawk, famous for various food items. Ice cream Sandwich is one of them. Gujaratis are famous world wide for their love for food. Here, Ice cream is not for only summer, it is consumed the whole year. Ice cream sandwich is prepared with ice cream, jam, cheese, chocolate etc. I have prepared without cheese

Serves: 2 persons

Ingredients:
4 slices bread
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp jam
2 tbsp chocolate chips
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 tbsp chocolate syrup

Method:

1. Spread butter on bread slices. Apply jam on two slices.
2. Now carefully put ice cream on bread slice with jam. Sprinkle some chocolate chips.
3. Cover it with bread slice with butter. Press lightly. Keep this prepared sandwich in refrigerator for some time.
4. Drizzle some chocolate syrup and relish cold ice cream sandwich.
