SPINACH ALMOND RAITA

Raita is a popular condiment in Indian cuisine. Raita is no cook, easy and yummy delicacy with curd as a key ingredient.
Generally raita contains thick curd with combination of fresh vegetables, fruits, dry fruits and spiced savoury snack Bundi, with basic spices.
Today, I have made raita with iron and fiber rich spinach and protein rich almonds.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: –
Serves: 2 persons
Ingredients:
1.5 cup thick curd
1/4 soaked almonds
1.5 tbsp spinach puree
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
1/2 tsp chat masala (optional )
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Remove skin of the soaked almonds and finely chopped them.
2. Take the curd in a bowl, lightly whip it with a spoon.
3. Add spinach puree and mix well.


4. Add roasted cumin powder and chat masala and mix well. As I have added chat masala, I skipped adding salt.

5. Finally add chopped almonds, mix well and chill it.

6. Serve chilled.

Note:
1. You can replace black salt with salt and also add black pepper.
