ONION POTATO PAKODA

Pakodas are one of the most consumed fried snack in India. There are very large range of pakodas available in India, it depends upon season and place. Weather ingredients, process are different but you will get pakodas all over India.

Serves : 2 persons
Ingredients:
2 potatoes chopped
2 onions chopped
2 green chillies chopped
1 ” ginger freshly grated
1/2 cup finely chopped coriander
1 cup gram flour
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp dry coriander powder
Pinch of baking soda
Pinch of asafoetida
Chat masala for sprinkle
Oil for frying
Method:
1. Mix all ingredients with hands.
2. Then add little water and prepare thick batter, add water little by little. Coat potatoes with batter.
3. Now add about 1 tsp hot oil, pinch of baking soda and mix well.
4. Heat oil and drop small pakodas in hot oil. Once all pakodas are dropped , turn the flame on medium.

5. Deep fry pakodas from both the sides till they become golden.
6. Sprinkle chat masala and serve hot.
