DATES-PEANUT BARS

Dates & Peanuts are very healthy & gives us enough energy, iron & protein. In winters, such ingredients gives us energy as well as inner body warmth as well. Here I made sukhadi like sweet by adding dates & peanuts.

Ingredients:
1cup wheat flour
1 cup chopped dates
3/4 cup peanuts
3/4 cup jaggery (grated)
1 cup ghee

Method:
1. Dry roast peanuts, remove skin & grind it roughly.
2. Heat ghee & add flour & saute it till it becomes pink & you feel the aroma.
3. Then add dates & saute for while, then add jaggery & peanuts,mix well & turn off heat.
4. Transfer it in plate/ thali , press & flatten well with spatula or any flat bowl.
5. After a few minutes, once it cools down cut it in your desired shape.
6. Store in air tight container.
Note:
1. Can add dry coconut also.
