Ingredients:
For the Filling / Spread :
1 cup paneer (crumbled or grated)
2 tbsp basil pesto
2 tbsp hung curd
2 tbsp grated cheese (processed or mozzarella)
½ tsp red chilli flakes
ÂĽ tsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
For Sandwich :
4 bread slices
Butter for toasting
Method:
Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, add crumbled paneer.
Add basil pesto, hung curd, and grated cheese.
Season with red chilli flakes, black pepper powder, and salt.
Mix everything well until creamy and evenly combined.
The mixture should be spreadable but thick.
Assemble the Sandwich:
Place two bread slices on a board.
Spread a generous layer of the pesto paneer mixture evenly.
Cover with the remaining bread slices.
Lightly apply butter on the outer sides.
Toast:
Heat a pan or sandwich toaster.
Toast the sandwich on medium flame until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
Press gently while toasting for an even crisp texture.
Serve:
Cut diagonally and serve hot.
Pair with ketchup, green chutney, or extra pesto dip.
