CHOCOLATE COATED STRAWBERRIES

CHOCOLATE COATED STRAWBERRIES

Chocolate coated strawberries are a timeless dessert that perfectly balances the freshness of juicy strawberries with rich, velvety chocolate. Simple yet luxurious, these treats are ideal for parties, celebrations, gifting, or even a quick indulgent snack. With just two main ingredients, they come together in minutes and always look stunning.

Preparation time:  10 minutes
Setting time: 10–15 minutes

Ingredients:

12 -15 Fresh strawberries (washed and completely dry)

150 grams Dark or milk chocolate – (compound or couverture, chopped)

Optional toppings:
Chopped nuts
White chocolate drizzle
Sprinkles or desiccated coconut

Method:

Wash the strawberries and pat them completely dry using a kitchen towel. (Moisture can cause chocolate to seize.)

Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave (heat in short intervals, stirring in between).

Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, coating it evenly.

Gently shake off excess chocolate and place the strawberry on parchment or butter paper.

Add toppings or drizzle with melted white chocolate while the coating is still wet.

Let them set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10–15 minutes until firm.

Serve fresh or store chilled until serving.
