Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup poha (flattened rice)
2 medium boiled potatoes, mashed
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tsp grated ginger
1–2 green chillies, finely chopped
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
½ tsp roasted cumin powder
½ tsp aamchur (dry mango powder)
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
1–2 tsp oil (for greasing / brushing before air frying)
Method:
Rinse poha in water and let it sit for 4–5 minutes until soft. Drain excess water.
In a mixing bowl, combine soaked poha, mashed potatoes, onion, ginger, green chilli, and coriander.
Add roasted cumin powder, aamchur, turmeric, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well to form a soft dough-like mixture.
Divide the mixture into portions and shape into round or oval cutlets.
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F).
Brush each cutlet lightly with oil and air fry for 10–12 minutes or until golden and crisp, flipping once in between.
Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
