BEETROOT OATS TIKKI

Beetroot Oats Tikki is a wholesome, vibrant, and delicious snack made with the goodness of beetroot, fiber-rich oats, potatoes, and a medley of spices. These shallow-fried tikkis are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with nutrients. A perfect healthy option for evening snacks, party appetizers, or even lunchboxes. They can be enjoyed with chutney, ketchup, or a yogurt dip—ideal for both kids and adults alike.

Ingredients:
½ cup oats (dry roasted)
1 small beetroot (boiled & grated)
1 potato (boiled & mashed)
1 tsp green chilli paste
1 tbsp poha powder (optional)
1 tsp dry mango powder (amchur)
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying
Method:
In a mixing bowl, combine oats, mashed potato, and grated beetroot.
Add green chilli paste, poha powder, dry mango powder, and salt. Mix everything well.
Shape the mixture into tikkis using a cookie cutter or simply form round shapes by hand.
Heat a pan with a little oil. (You can use a mini uttapam pan, as shown here.) Shallow fry the tikkis on low flame until golden and crispy on both sides.
Serve hot with your favorite chutney, ketchup, or yogurt dip.
