A chaat board is a trendy way to serve and enjoy a variety of Indian street food-style snacks, known as chaat items. This platter or board offers a selection of popular Indian snacks, including savory and spicy treats, crunchy fried delights, and refreshing yogurt-based sides. The board typically includes a variety of textures, flavors, and temperatures to create a delightful and interactive snacking experience.

Serves: 4 persons

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups thick curd
  • 1/2 cup boiled and chopped potatoes
  • 1/4 cup dates tamarind chutney
  • 1/4 cup coriander green chutney
  • 1/8 cup diluted garlic chutney
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup namkeen boondi
  • 1/4 cup spiced chana dal
  • 1/4 cup sev
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate kernels
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 1 tbsp chaat masala
  • 20-30 papdi puri

Method:

  1. Spread hung curd on a flat dish or board. Add a layer of potatoes.
  2. Add all three chutneys according to your taste.
  3. Add onions and all namkeens.
  4. Sprinkle chaat masala, coriander, and pomegranate kernels.
  5. Arrange papdi puri on the sides and serve.
