Rajbogh Dates are a fusion dessert that combines a natural sweetness of Medjool Dates with creamy chena filling. This delicious and healthy dessert is the best option for festivals. Saffron, cardamom, nuts elivates the taste of this sweet to the next level of richness.

Ingredients:
6 medjool date
1/2 cup fresh chena/paneer
1/8 tsp saffron (soaked in 1 tbsp milk)
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp pistachio flakes
1 tsp almond flakes
For garnish:
1 tsp pistachio powder
Saffron strands
Silver varkh
Pistachio flakes

Method:

  1. Grate or crumble chena and transfer it into a bowl.
  2. Add soaked saffron and cardamom powder.
  3. Add powdered sugar and both flakes. Mix well.
  4. Remove seeds from dates by giving them a vertical cut from one side. Fill dates with prepared chena mixture.
  5. Garnish with pistachio, saffron and silver varkh.
  6. Keep in the refrigerator for some time.
  7. Serve chilled.
