WALNUT MAKHANA HALWA

WALNUT MAKHANA HALWA

Walnut halwa or Akhrot halwa is a delectable nutty dessert popular in India and Pakistan. This rich and indulgent dessert is made with walnut, milk and sweetner as the key ingredients. Walnuts are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E and antioxidants.
I have added makhana along with walnuts. Makhana are good source of protein, magnesium, carbohydrates, fiber, potassium, phosphorus, iron and zinc.
This halwa is a perfect combination of nutrition and taste. It gives inner body warmth so perfect for winters.
