CHICKPEA KEBAB IN PEANUT TART

A kitchen is a laboratory for housewives to show their culinary skills. As a responsible housewife, mother and wife, I try to ensure that the food prepared in my kitchen is tasty and healthy. As Paryushan is going on, I prepared a Jain gourmet delicacy and the result is before you.

Cooking time: 20 minutes

1/2 cup coarse oats powder
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
For chickpea kebabs:
1 cup boiled chick peas
1/4 cup grated cheese
1/4 cup boiled and mashed raw banana
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tbsp oregano
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying
For mint dip:
1 cup hung curd
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tbsp dry mint powder
Salt to taste
For serving:
Raw banana fries
Masala chickpeas
Cheese crepe
Method:
- To make the tart: Boil and mash raw bananas. Then add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Now grease the tart case with butter, press the prepared mixture and fill it. Apply some butter on the top side as well. Then bake it in preheated oven at 200℃ for 10-15 minutes. Once baked, keep aside.
- To prepare the Chickpea Kebab: Prepare the Kebab while the tart is baking. For this, grind the boiled chickpeas and mix the rest of the kebab ingredients in it, make a kebab out of it and shalow fry it from both sides.
- To make mint dip: Add mint powder, pepper powder and salt to hung curd and mix well and keep in the refrigerator to chill.
- For the cheese crepe: Scatter the grated cheese directly over heated non stick skillet. Let it cook until golden. Then carefully lift from one side and put on inverted bowl and lightly press it. Or let it cool. Then cut into pieces and use.
- To serve: Fill prepared tarts with mint dip. Then put the prepared kebabs in it. Then serve with banana chips and masala chana and cheese crepe.
Note: - If you don’t want to make a tart, the kebabs can be served in cheese crepe balls with dip.
- You can add red chilli flakes in Kebab to make more spicy.
