CRANBERRY MALAI LADOO

Malai ladoo is popular Indian sweet prepared with milk, paneer (cottage cheese) & malai (fresh cream) as key ingredients . This rich, delicious and creamy sweet is melt in mouth. Malai ladoo is easy to cook sweet which is commonly prepared in Indian housedholds during festivals and special occasions. Today, I have prepared Malai Ladoo with little twist and give fusion touch to this traditional sweet by adding cranberries. Cranberries are rich in antioxidants and have other nutrients like vitamins and minerals.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes
Serves: 4 persons
Ingredients:.
100 grams paneer
1/2 cup milk powder
1/4 cup suagr
3 tbsp ghee
3 tbsp Malai
3 tbsp milk
1/4 cup dry cranberry coarse powder
Method:
- In a nonstick pan , add ghee , malai, milk powder and milk. Mix well and cook for couple of minutes.
- Further add grated paneer and sugar. Mix and cook till it turns to a mass and leaves the sides of the pan. Then turn off the heat.
- Transfer this to a plate and let it cool a little, so you can handle it with your hand. Then add cranberry powder and mix well.
- Then prepare small ladoos and keep in the refrigerator to chill.
- Serve chilled.
