PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE BARS

Various energy bars are one of the healthy snack options. Even we can prepare bars at home, using some healthy ingredients for kids, as kids are very choosy and feeding them healthy food is a big task for moms. Today, I have prepared healthy bars using oats and peanut butter as key ingredients and cover it with dark chocolate which makes these bars kids friendly.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Setting time: 20 minutes
Makes: 8 bars
Ingredients:
1/2 cup oats
8 marie biscuits
1/2 cup peanut butter (approximately)
2 tbsp melted butter/ghee
200 grams dark chocolate
1 tbsp white chocolate chips
1 tbsp butterscotch balls
Method:
- Dry roast oats. Roughly break marie biscuits. Grind oats and biscuits together.
- In a mixing bowl add oats-biscuits powder, 1/4 cup peanut butter and melted butter or ghee. Mix well.
- Now in a tray line butter paper and transfer this mixture and spread it uniformly by pressing spatula.
- Roughly chop dark chocolate, add peanut butter and melt them in a double boiler.
- Pour this on oats biscuit layer. Sprinkle white chocolate chips and butterscotch balls and let it set in refrigerator.
- Then cut it into pieces and enjoy.
