MULTI GRAIN FLOUR HALWA

MULTI GRAIN FLOUR HALWA

Halwa or halva is a popular Indian sweet. Though it originated in Middle East but it is popular in India, Iraq, the Middle East, Somalia, Djibouti and Greece. Basically halwa is prepared from ghee, flour and sweetner. Additional ingredients like dry fruits, fruits, saffron, cardamom etc are added as per choice. In India Aata halwa and suji/semolina halwa is most popular. Sugar or jaggery are used for sweetner. Here I have prepared halwa using Multi grain flour.
