SUJI TOAST
(RAVA TOAST)

Rava toast is basically a bread toast recipe prepared from rava/semolina batter with vegetables and bread. This is an ideal breakfast and lunch box recipe. This delicious toast is also known as egg less french toast. This quick open toast recipe is healthy ,filling and satisfying option for breakfast.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4 persons
Ingredients:
8 slices bread
1 cup semolina
1/2 cup curd
1 onion
1 carrot
1 small capsicum
1/4 cup shredded cabbage
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander
2 green chillies
1 small piece ginger
Salt to taste
1/4 cup green chutney
Ghee for cooking toast
Method:
- Mix curd in semolina. Cover and rest it for 10-15 minutes.
- While the semolina-curd mixture is resting, wash,peel and chop all veggies except coriander. Then chop everything in a chopoer.
- Now add chopped veggies and salt in semolina mixture and mix it properly. Lastly add coriander and mix.
- Now take one bread slice, apply chutney then spread semolina mixture evenly.
- Now heat skillet or pan and add some ghee. Carefully place the prepared bread on skillet. Place the mixture side facing the skillet. Apply some ghee on top facing side of bread. Let it cook on low medium flame. Then flip and toast from other side too. Continue with the rest bread slices and semolina mixture.
- Serve hot.
Note: - Can use oil or butter instead of ghee.
- Can add your choice of vegetables.
