MINTY LACCHA PARATHA

Various parathas are the heart of Indian cuisine. Parathas are consumed as a breakfast and also as a main course along with sabzis and dals.
Laccha paratha is also known as chur chur paratha is a flaky and layered parathas.
Here is a very simple mint flavoured laccha parathas which can be cosumed with curd ,pickle etc.in breakfast.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4 persons
Ingredients:
2 cup wheat flour
1 cup chopped mint leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp nigelia seeds (kalonji)
2 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
Ghee for cooking paratha
Method:
- Mix all ingredients in wheat flour and knead medium soft dough.
- Divide the dough into equal parts, take one and roll it.
- Apply oil over it and sprinkle dry flour.
- Now start pleating like fan from one end to other and roll it in a spiral.
- Now again roll the paratha with light hand.
- On a heated skillet, first cook little without ghee from both sides.
- Then apply ghee and cook from both sides.
- Serve hot.
Note: - You can mix various spices and sprinkle along with flour before start pleating.
- You can cut stripes by keeping ends intact and then also pleat.
