Street food is sold across the world as per the place and demand. So it’s list is very large. Being Indian, if we discuss some of street foods spread its fame across India like pav bhaji, Dabeli, pani puri, vada pav, chana jor garam, samosas, momos and many more.
Vada pav – an Indian Burger is a very popular street food native to Maharastra. This delicious delicacy consists of bread bun and deep fried potato dumplings (bataka vada) accompanied with green chillies and special, spicy dry garlic chutney.
History says that this rustic and mouthwatering snack was invented by Ashok Vaidya of Dadar (Mumbai- Maharashtra) in 1966. We can see the love for vada pav in these quotes.

Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4 persons
Ingredients:
8 vada pav buns
8 bataka vada
8 tbsp butter
8 tsp dry garlic chutney
Method:
- Heat skilletand add little butter and 1 tsp dry garlic chutney.
- Then cut bun from center, keeping one end uncut, and sauté it in butter-garlic chutney.
- Then put one bataka vada on it and press little.
- Cover it and sauté little by adding more butter.
- Serve hot with fried green chillies, green chutney and dry garlic chutney.
