CHOCOLATE MAKHANA POPS

Christmas bells are ringing and it’s time to make cakes, cookies,chocolates. Apart from typical and special christmas goodies , here is something healthy and chocolaty which can definitely be included in our list of Christmas goodies.
Makhana aka lotus seeds, fox nuts is popular as fasting food majorly. It has similar benefits as superior dry fruits almonds and walnuts. Makhana are a good source of protein, carbohydrates, fiber, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, iron and zinc.

Preparation time : 10minutes
Cooking time : 10minutes
Serves : 1 persons
Ingredients:
1 cup makhana
50 gram cooking chocolate
1 tsp oats
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp finely chopped walnuts
1 tsp white chocolate chips
Method:
1. Dry roast makhana on slow flame till it becomes crispy and slightly change in colours.

2. Keep ingredients for toppings ready and insert tooth pick in each makhana.


3. Melt the chocolate and dip the makhana in it.

4. Then dip from top in one topping.
5. Continue with all the rest of makhana and various toppings.


6. Set each toothpick in a way that they do not touch each other. Keep it in referigerator till it sets properly.
7. Our makhana pops are ready to serve.
