MAGGI CHEESE BALLS

Though maggi is brand name for instant noodles but it’s fame is spread so much in India that it known and said by people as Maggi not noodles. Kid’s most favourite maggi is also popular in youngsters. There are many street food joints which serves various preparations of Maggi.
Here I have combined two favourite food items and made delicious balls. Of course, it’s fried and we can put it in junk category. But once in a while, it’s ok. 😂
Preparation time : 20 minutes
Cooking time : 20 minutes
Serves : 4 persons
Ingredients:
3 cakes of maggi
3 maggi taste maker sachets
3 boiled potatoes
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp dry mango powder
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp all purpose flour for slurry
5-6 tbsp mozzarella cheese dices
Oil for frying
Method:
1. Prepare two cakes of maggi noodles as per instructions without taste maker. Mash boiled potatoes.
2. Now in a big bowl, add maggi, mashed potatoes, corn flour and rest of all spices and green chillies. Mix properly.
3. Now take a lemon sized portion from that mixture in greased palm and flatten.
4. Add some cheese dices in the centre.

5. Again make a proper ball without any cracks.

6. Add a little water in all purpose flour and make a slurry. Crush spared one maggi cake. Deep the prepared ball in the slurry and then roll it in crushed maggi. Cover from all sides.


7. In preheated oil, deep fry it from all sides on a medium flame.

8. Remove it in a tissue lined plate.
9. Serve hot.
