METHI NAMAK PARA ( FENUGREEK CRAKERS )

This tea time fried snack is becomes more tastier just by adding fresh fenugreek leaves. It is perfect for tea parties, snack party , picnic as well as travelling .

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time : 20 minutes
Serves : 6 persons
Ingredients:
2 cup wheat flour
1 cup finely chopped fenugreek leaves
2 tbsp finely chopped chilles or chilli paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp oil
1/2 cup curd
1 tsp turmeric powder
Pinch of asafoetida
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method:
1. Add all ingredients except curd in wheat flour and mix well in crumbly texture.


2. Now knead medium hard dough with curd.
3. Then divide the dough into equal parts and roll each part into a thin roti.
4. Prick it with fork and cut it into your desired shape.
5. In pre heated oil, deep fry it from both sides on medium flame.


6. Once it cools down completely store it in air tight jar.
Note:
1. You can replace wheat flour with multigrain flour.
2. Can sprinkle chat masala after frying.
