SUKHADI (GOLPAPDI)

Sukhadi/Golpapdi is very popular sweet from Gujarat. This is a healthy sweet made with only a few ingredients in a very less time too. We can find this sweet in almost every Gujarati family, anytime.
Wheat flour & Jaggery are its key ingredients which make it healthy.

Prep time: 5mins
Cooking time: 15mins
Serves: 4 persons
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup wheat flour
3/4 to 1 cup ghee
3/4 cup jaggery (I used chemical-free jaggery)
METHOD:
1. Heat ghee and saute the wheat flour till it becomes pink and you feel its aroma.
2. Grate jaggery and keep it aside.
3. Onc flour is sautéed properly & becomes light, turn off the flame, add jaggery and mix properly.
4. Transfer it in a plate or thali and spread it evenly. Flatten it with a spatula or a flat bottom bowl.
5. Once it cools down little, cut into pieces with the help of a knife or a cutter.
6. After it cools completely, take out the pieces and store it in air tight container.
Note:
1. Can sprinkle fennel seeds & sliced almonds after spreading it.
