ALOE VERA FUDGE WITH SAFFRON SPIRAL

Aloe vera is a medicinal plant which has been used for thousands of years to treat various health & skin problems. We can directly use gel from plant or can buy it in gel or any form . Now a days there are many beauty products available with aloe vera as well as juice of Aloe vera & capsules are also available for oral use.
Apart from its beauty & skin benefits, it heals burns. It helps in digestive & bowel problems. Still we should take or consume it in limit & should check it’s side effects on your body then consume it.
Here I made fudge/ halva using aloe vera.

Preparation time :15 minutes
Cooking time : 20 minutes
Serves : 2 persons
Ingredients:
For aloe vera fudge:
1 cup aloe vera pulp
1 cup evoparated milk solids ( khoya )
1/2 cup ghee
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup powdered mix dryfruit powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
For saffron spiral:
1 cup milk powder
1/2 cup or as per your taste powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp saffron
Method:
For aloe vera fudge:
1. Heat ghee in non stick pan saute aloe vera till it becomes light brown.
2. Then add milk & cook for 3-4 minutes.
3. Then add khoya & sauté till ghee is separated.
4. Lastly add rest of all ingredients, mix well, sauté for a while & turn off heat.
5. Serve hot or cold as per your choice .
For saffron spiral:
1. Soak saffron in milk for while.
2. Then mix milk powder, sugar and saffron milk & then fill it in piping bag, make spiral in serving plate & keep it in refrigerator for some time.

Note:
1. Properly clean aloe vera , remove skin & it’s thorns & then remove it’s pulp.
2. Can add dry ginger powder to make it more healthier.
