GREEN GRAM MODAK

Fresh green gram/ jinjra / popta or choliya, whatever we say it, are full of protein & available in winters. They can be consumed raw, roasted or in any cooked form.
Here I have made a sweet dish out of it in combination of milk.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes
Serves: 2 persons

Ingredients:
1 cup fresh & tender green grams ( grinded )
3 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
2 tsp ghee
Method:
1. Heat 1 tsp ghee in nonstick pan, saute grinded gram for a while then add milk & let grinded gram cook in it on slow flame, stir occasionally.
2. Lastly add sugar and cook for while, now it will become a lump like mass & leaves sides of the vessel.
3. Lastly add cardamom powder & ghee. Mix well & turn off the heat. Let it cool & in a greased modak mould, fill it & make modaks. You can make any other shape.
Note:
1. Can add dry fruits or dry fruit powder also.
