PATRA CHILLA

We all have made steamed rolls ( patra ) from colocasia leaves with gram flour thick , spiced paste. Here I have made chilla using colocassia leaves & gram flour batter. Made it in little different way.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time : 10 minutes
Serving : 4
Ingredients:
2 colocasia leaves
1 cup gram flour
1 tsp red chilli powder
Pinch of asafoetida
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
Method:
1. Clean & wash colocasia leaves, remove stems & cut into rectangles.
2. Add spices & salt in gram flour & prepare batter by adding water.
3. Now heat non stick skillet ,spread batter little bigger than rectangular piece of leaf.
4. Now fill some batter in bottle with nozzle & make design over leaf as shown in picture.
5. Put few drops of oil ,once cooked from one side, flip it & cook the other side.
6. Serve hot.
