SPICED FRUIT LEATHER
(SPICED AAMPAPAD)

Mango , the king of fruit is favourite of all , some exception are there but majority of people like mango. Summer & mangoes come together. We consume mangoes raw & ripe ,in pickle , salad ,drinks ,deserts & many more ways. Aampapad is one of them.
I made aampapad by adding some spices. I got the idea of adding spices in aampapad from one of my fellow foodie.

Ingredients:
4 cups mango pulp
1tbsp roasted cumin powder
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tsp black salt
Sugar if needed
Method:
1. Make pulp without adding water.
2. Ina nonstick pan add pulp & cook till it become little thick. You can skip this step, but it will take more time to dry.

3. Once it becomes little thick, turn off the heat & add all spices & mix well. If mango is not sweet , add sugar while making pulp.

4. Now in a greased plate spread this pulp in thin layer & let it dry in strong sunlight . If sunlight is strong & layer is thin , will dry in a day or two.

5. Once it dries, pull out carefully. Thin fruit leather is ready to eat. You can roll it or cut into pieces, choice is yours.

Note:
1. If you like thick, then spread thick, but it will take more time to dry.
2. You can dry it in room, under the running fan too, it will also take more time.
