BREAD CHAKRI

What do you make from leftover breads? Breadcrumbs, croutons or toasts, right? Commonly , we make these items from left over breads. Today, I have made yummy,crispy Indian snack chakri out of it.
Ingredients:
6-8 left over breads
1 cup sour buttermilk or curd
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Pinch of asafoetida
3 tbsp oil
Rice flour as needed
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method:
1. Soak bread in sour buttermilk for few minutes.

2. Then add rest of spices & mix well with soaked bread. Mash bread with hands.

3. Now add oil & rice flour to prepare medium hard dough.

4. Fill extruder with prepared dough & make chakris.

5. In preheated oil, fry chakris on medium flame, till it becomes crispy.
6. Once it cools, store it in air tight container.
Note:
1. Can add lemon juice, if butter milk is not sour or want more sourness.
2. Can add green chilli paste.
