MULTI GRAIN CURRY LEAVES STICKS

We all love tea time fried snacks. Many of our favourite namkeens are made from all purpose flour ( maida). Here I tried multi grain flours to make these sticks & use curry leaves. As we all are aware of health benefits of curry leaves. The main nutrients found in curry leaves are carbohydrates, energy, fibre, calcium, Phosphorus, iron, magnesium, copper & minerals. It also contains various vitamins like nicotinic acid & vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin E, antioxidants, amino acids, glycosides & flavonoids.
Curry leaves help in kidney problems, skin care, diarrhoea, eye dis orders, stomach disorders, cholesterol & weight reduction, hair care & in pregnancy.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup jowar flour
1/2 cup bajri (small millet)flour
1/2 cup soya bean flour
1/2 cup makai (yellow corn flour)flour
1/2 cup wheat flour
1 tsp turmeric powder
4 tbsp oil
I cup finely chopped curry leaves
1/4 tsp asafoetida
Salt to taste
Chat masala for sprinkle
Oil for frying

Method:
1. Mix all flours, chopped curry leaves, oil & spices & knead dough. It should be medium hard.
2. Roll it like paratha, not so thick, use dry flour for rolling.
3. Prick it with fork & cut it in sticks.
4. Fry it in a pre heated oil on a slow flame till it became crispy.
5. Once fried sprinkle chat masala immediately.
6. Cool & store it in airtight container.
7. Have it whenever you want.

Notes:
1. Can use ready made multi grain flour.
2. Can also add Ragi flour.
3. Can use curd in kneading dough.
4. Can replace chat masala with red chilli powder,black salt.
