FALAHAARI CROQUETS

Festivals, Fast, and Falahaar. These 3 ‘F’ are connected with each other. Basically, Falahaar word means Fal (Fruit) + aahar(diet). Means in fasts, you can consume fruits. But, gradually this word ‘Falahaar’ has a new meaning & list of Falahaar items is getting longer and larger, everyday.
Made this yummy croquets by adding several ingredients which can be consumed during fasting.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup samo
3 big potatoes
2 tbsp sago/topiaco/sabudana
3 tbsp paneer(crumbled)
3 tbsp coriander (finely chopped)
1 tbsp Green chilli paste
2 tbsp lemon juice
Sendha namak as per taste
Oil for frying and shallow frying

Method:
1. Wash & pressure cook samo for 3 whistles with sufficient water.
2. Boil & mash potato. Wash & soak sago.
3. Now mix everything.
4. Make rolls, tikki, kebabs, whatever shape you like.
5. Deep fry or shallow fry it till golden brown.
6. Serve hot with coriander, chutney, ketchup etc.

Notes:
1. Can add cheese to make it more tastier.
2. Can add roughly chopped peanuts, cashew nuts, and kishmish also.
