GARLIC GINGER PICKLE

 

When we are talking about our first hero aka father & his favourite food items, pickles strike on my mind first. He is fond of eating & die hard foodie. Yes, I got this food passion in heir. Though he is a foodie & satisfying his taste buds is our aim but Health is also a priority. I use less oil in this pickle, for it I choose option to kept it in refrigerator.

GARLIC GINGER PICKLE

Ingredients:

2 big rajapuri keri(peeled & grated)
500gms garlic cloves(coarsely chopped)
150-200gms ginger( coarsely chopped)
200gms yellow mustard powder
150 gms fenugreek powder coarse
100gms salt
1tsp turmeric powder
1tsp hing
1tsp black salt
1 tsp citric acid granules
Red chilli powder…to taste.
2-3 tbsp oil
Oil as per your choice

Recipe:
1. Saute garlic pink in 2-3 tbs oil.
Let it cool totally.
2. Then mix all ingredients together.. Rest for one day in a glass bowl.
3. On the Second day, put it in glass jar & add needed oil. As I store it in refrigerator , I add less oil..
Note:
you can change proportion of ginger garlic as per your taste.
