MANGO MAGAJ

Mango & summer are like twins..😊. Mango mania is every where. Just like Mango is in air.. We Enjoy mango in milk shakes, deserts, sweets or eat it directly.
Here is mango magaj. Magaj is made from besan, it’s Gujaratis’ favourite sweet. In other states it is known as Besan ke ladoo.

Ingredients:
1 cup gram flour(besan)
1 cup mango pulp
1/2 cup ghee ( clarified butter)
2 tbsp milk
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
1 tsp almond silvers.

Method:
1. Mix 2 tbsp warm milk & melted ghee. Add this into besan flour & mix well using finger tips till no lumps remain, with light hands.
2. Press gently this mixture & cover it for 15-20 minutes.
3. After 20 minutes break this pressed mixture lightly & pass through sieve for uniform texture. Choose a sieve with big mesh or medium mesh.
4. Now heat ghee and add this sieved mixture and cook it till it turns light brown and aroma arises. Then turn off the heat.
5. Once it becomes lukewarm, add sugar,Mango pulp, cardamom powder, nut meg powder and almond silvers. Mix well and serve.
