ROSE PETAL ALMONDS

ROSE PETAL ALMONDS Soothing & cool aroma of Rose infused in almonds, lightly sweetened, make almonds more interesting. Ingredients: 100 gms. Almonds 2 cups sugar 2 cups fresh rose petals 1 tbsp rosewater ( optional ) Method: 1. In a thick bottom pan, add sugar & add water till the sugar submerges. 2. Turn on heat & let it boil. Stir occasionally. 3. Cook this sugar syrup until it becomes thick, say about 3 strings. 4. Once it near to become thick, add rose petals & rosewater. 5. As it becomes thick, still it will transparent, turn off heat & whip it with laddle,it will turn white & thick, add almonds & fold it properly so that almonds cover nicely. Remove & put almonds on plate. 6. Once it cools down, store it in air tight container. Have this crunchy, lightly sweetened rose almonds, when you wish.
