VRAT KA HALWA (JAGGERY)

This Vrat ka Halwa is a wholesome and delicious sweet dish perfect for fasting days. Prepared with fasting flour, pure ghee, and jaggery, it is naturally sweetened and enriched with the aroma of cardamom and the crunch of almond & pistachio flakes. Light yet indulgent, this halwa keeps you energized during fasts while satisfying sweet cravings in a healthier way.

Ingredients:
1 cup fasting flour (I have used ready made fasting flour)
½ cup ghee
Âľ cup jaggery powder (dissolved in 1 cup hot water)
½ tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp almond flakes
1 tbsp pistachio flakes
Method:
Heat ghee in a heavy-bottom pan.
Add fasting flour and roast on medium flame till it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.
Slowly pour in the jaggery water while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
Cook until the mixture thickens into a soft halwa consistency.
Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Garnish with almond and pistachio flakes.
Serve warm.
