SOY MILK ICED MOCHA (VEGAN)

Soy milk , also known as soya milk is a plant based drink produced by soaking and grinding soy beans, boiling the mixture and filtering out the remaining particles. It is a stable emulsion of oil , water and protein. Soy milk originated in China and became popular in Europe and America in the later half of 20th century. Soy milk is one of the common substitute for dairy milk for those who are vegan or lactose intolerant. Soy milk also used in making non – dairy products like tofu, soy cream, soy yoghurt etc.
I have prepared Iced Mocha using soy milk.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: —
Serves: 2 persons

Ingredients:
2 glass soy milk
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tbsp coffee
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
Ice cubes
Water

Method:

  1. In one glass add coffee, one tbsp powdered sugar, salt and 1/4 glass water and mix with frother till froth forms. Keep aside.
  2. Now, in an other glass add cocoa powder, one tbsp sugar and half glass soy milk. Mix it well. Keep aside.
  3. Now take serving glass, add lots of ice cubes, add coffee mixture. Save froth for topping.
  4. Add rest of the soy milk. Then add soy milk – cocoa powder mixture.
  5. Top up with froth.
  6. Enjoy Vegan Iced Mocha.
