ALMOND STUFFED DATES

Dates are a power house of energy. Dates contain various minerals. Fiber rich dates contain natural sweetness. We can consume upto 4-5 dates a day. Almonds- a most consumed dry fruit doesn’t need any aknowledgement. Protein rich almonds helps in many ways to maintain good health.
Here is a winter special – almond stuffed dates, dipped in calrified butter(ghee). One or two daily, gives you enough energy and inner body warmth and health in winters.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves : 20 dates.
Ingredients:
20 soft black dates
20 almonds
1/2 cup ghee ( approximately )
Method:
1. Make a vertical cut and remove the seed from the dates.
2. Heat 2-3 tbsp ghee and fry the almonds in it.
3. Once the almonds cool down, stuff each date with these almonds.
4. Now dip each stuffed almonds in ghee.


5. Store it in a clean container and consume it when you wish.

Note:
1. I do not heat ghee before dipping dates in it.
2. In winters, it can stay fresh outside , no need of referigeration.
3. Using cow ghee is preferable.
