Winter is knocking on the door and the mercury level goes down . We feel the coo breeze. Fragrance and aroma of winter special food spreads in our kitchen.
Raab is one of the winter special drink which is also good when you suffer from cough and cold. Piping hot Raab makes us warm in rosy winter.
Raab can be prepared from various flours and also with edible gum. Here is a raab with wheat flour and carrom seeds.

Preparation time: –
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients:

4 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp wheat flour
1 tbsp carrom seeds
1 tbsp dry ginger powder
1 tbsp piprimool powder
1/4 cup or to taste jaggery ( preferably chemical free )
1 tbsp almond flakes ( optional )

Method:

1. Heat ghee and add carrom seeds and both the spice powders and stir for a few seconds.

2. Then add wheat flour and saute it for 1-2 minutes.

3. Further add about 4 cups of water gradually, while stirring continuously.

4. Then add jaggery and let it boil for 4-5 minutes. Then turn off the heat.

5. Add almond flakes and serve hot.
