KHOYA – EVAPORATED MILK SOLIDS

Necessity is mother of Invention. Meaning of this proverb is truly understood by all in past few months. Due to Corona Virus and lockdown, we are restricted from many activities. Staying home and quarantine life make us learn many new things in all matters. Of course, in these days kitchen is literally converted into a lab. As we prefer not to use outside eatables, we start making it at home.
Here is a very simple, no cook recipe of khoya/ mawa/ evaporated milk solids with only two ingredients.

Preparation time: 1 hour

Serves: 4 persons

Ingredients:

3 cup milk powder
1 cup malai ( cream from milk )

Method:

1. Mix malai and milk powder and make a lump like ball.

2. Keep this ball in deep freeze for an hour to set.
3. Our khoya is ready. Use it in making sweet or anything you wish.
