ALMOND MILK

Almond milk is one of the most popular non dairy and vegan milk. As we know nutrition value and health benefits of almonds, we know that almond milk is also very healthy. Though we can’t compare nutrition value of almond milk with any dairy milk like cow milk. Almond milk is naturally rich in several vitamins and minerals and specially vitamin E. Almond milk is low in calories and when it is unsweetened, it doesn’t raise blood sugar level. Vitamin D and Vitamin E in almond milk may be beneficial to heart and vitamin D deficiency.
Apart from its advantages , those who are suffering from kidney stones, should avoid to have it in high amounts.
Though almond milk is easily available in market, it can be easily made at home too. The perfect quantity to consume almond milk is 100-150 ml. Those who are weight watchers, they should consume almond milk with empty stomach. Those who are wishing strength, they should consume it after meals.

Ingredients:
100 grams almonds
2 litres water
Method:
1. Soak almonds overnight.


2. Next day peel out it’s skin.

3. Chop it roughly. Add little water in chopped almonds and blend it into smooth paste.


4. Transfer this paste into a vessel and add 2 litres water and mix well.

5. Store it in refrigerator.
Note:
1. You can skip removing skin of almonds as it’s skin also have nutrition value.
