OATS DRUMSTICK SOUP

As we all know, Oats & drumsticks are really beneficial to health. As oats are gluten free & rich in dietary fibres , it is considered as good & healthy option. Drumsticks also have good amount of dietary fibres as well as rich in vitamin-C. Combination of these two ingredients turned out into a yummy & healthy soup.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup oats
4 drumsticks
1 tsp finely chopped ginger
1 tbsp finely chopped spring onion
1/4 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste.

Method:
1. Clean, cut & pressure cook drumstick with little water.
2. Add 2 cups of water in oats & cook it for 4-5 minutes.
3. Squeeze out pulp from drumsticks & grind it with little water. If needed pass through strainer.
4. Now add this pulp into oats, also add ginger , salt & pepper.
5. Cook for 5 minutes more. Add spring onion & after a minute turn off heat.
6. Serve hot.

Note:
1. Can add few mint leaves in drumstick pulp at the time of grinding.
