ROSE PETAL COOLER

Rose Petal Cooler

Summer has almost started. As mercury level goes up day by day, our body as well as taste buds crave for something THANDA THANDA COOL COOL every now and then. Rose drinks are most common & favourite summer drink whether it is consumed in the form of lassi, milkshake or as a sharbat.
Rose petals are natural cooler. We can also make Gulkand from it. Adding chia seeds to it can make the cooler much more healthier.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup fresh rose petals
tbsp soaked chia seeds
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp honey/sugar

Method:
1. Blend rose petals in a mixer, adding half glass of water.
2. Add lemon juice, chia seeds and sugar/honey. I prefer using coconut sugar.
3. Add 1/4 glass of water. Mix well & taste. The quantity of sugar and lemon juice can be adjusted to one’s own taste preference.
4. Crush some ice cubes and fill it in a tall glass. Pour the cooler over it and serve.

Note: One can use basil seeds, sabja or takmaria instead of chia seeds.
