QUICK ENERGY BARS

In India, winter is season when people collect energy for whole year by consuming special Shiyalu Paaks. Of course, various Shiyalu Paaks are full of energy but also most of shiyalu paaks contain ghee & because of ghee weight watchers keep their self away from such shiyalu paaks.
Energy bars , Granola bars are not new name for us. These are also good source of energy without too much ghee or fat. Young generation like such bars instead of shiyalu paaks. Also such bars can consumed throughout the year.
Here is very easy energy bar for all of you. Hope you like it !

Ingredients:
2 cups rolling oats
1-1/2 cup mix dry fruits( chopped)
50 gms butter
1/2 cup honey
2 tbsp powdered sugar (optional)
1 tbsp cinnamon powder

Method:
1. Warm butter until it is melted.
2. Then mix honey & sugar in butter.
3. Add oats, dry fruits & cinnamon powder. Mix well until all the oats are well coated. Turn off the heat.

4. Now place it in greased tray properly & let it cool for at least 2-3 hours.
5. Then cut it with knife carefully as due to dry fruits it becomes crumbly.

6. Store it in air tight container separated by parchment paper to avoid sticking.

7. We can store it in refrigerator for two weeks & one week at room temperature.
